The theme for this collection was "islands seen from above." The goal was to create visuals that were filled with detail, feeling a bit like a living map or diorama. I also wanted to make sure to include animal life this time round — especially in the water. Sharks, orcas, whales, birds... all were rendered separately in Midjourney and then hand-placed in their environments. I feel like I say this for every collection but... these were a lot of fun to make. But also a significant challenge, as Midjourney did NOT want to render top-down views consistently.

Tiny details like palm trees, bushes, grass and sandy beaches are visible, with gentle surf and coral reefs under the water just off-shore.
